The Related Group and Dezer Development Host Beachfront Dinner Honoring Design Legend César Pelli at Residences by Armani/Casa
On May 10, our own Jorge M. Pérez, Dezer Development’s Gil Dezer and Surface Magazine kicked off Miami’s most prominent week in design with cocktails and fine dining at an intimate, oceanfront event at the Residences by Armani/Casa in Sunny Isles Beach to celebrate this incredible beachfront project.
Guests were able to experience the modern aesthetic and luxurious comfort of the Giorgio Armani-curated development and its planned 308 units. World-renowned Argentinean-born architect César Pelli, who designed the sleek sail-shaped 60-story glass tower, joined the developers to celebrate this landmark project. Once the tours of the design center were complete, guests dined on the elegant, oceanfront terrace.

GranParaiso Hosts City Theatre Fundraiser
Also on May 10, GranParaiso, the final building in The Related Group’s luxurious master-planned Paraiso community in Edgewater, hosted the annual fundraiser for local professional theatre company City Theatre. The property was a spectacular backdrop for an evening of art and fine dining under the stars.
Guests were treated to light bites and a three-course meal prepared by James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz, a wine pairing by Paolo Da Gallo of Zonin1821 and a collection of theatrical shorts from City Theatre’s renowned repertoire.
As part of the “Summer Shorts Season Celebration,” guests enjoyed short performances – or “shorts” – from the group in-between each course. The evening perfectly reflected Related’s strong focus on supporting local arts organizations, and resulted in raising funds of over $10,000 for the performing arts group.
